2024-25 Marian Pompon tryouts announced

BLOOMFIELD HILLS (April 8, 2024) - The Marian Athletic Department announced today the tryout series for students joining the 2024-25 Marian pompon team.

The 2023-24 season was a historic one for the Mustangs, as they captured the Mid-American Pompon Class C/D title at Eastern Michigan University. The Championship was the first in program history and the 36th overall team title in school history.

No experience is necessary. Current underclassmen are encouraged to tryout as well as eighth grade students registered to attend Marian next fall (a current MHSAA physical form signed by a physician is required).

Pompon includes components of dance, choreography and of course poms!

The tryout schedule is as follows:

April 15 (5:30-7pm) - Basics & Routine Instruction
April 17 (5:30-7pm) - Mandatory Parent Meeting (5:30-6pm), Basics & Routine Instruction 6-7pm
April 19 (5:30-7pm) - Final Tryout

All tryouts will be held in the Marian gym on Cicerone Court.
