Mustangs Pom Pon wins Back to Back State Championships!

Bloomfield Hills, MI – February 14, 2025 – The Marian High School Mustangs Pom Pons Team has done it again, earning the Class C/D State Championship title for the second year in a row! The team triumphed over formidable competitors, including Hemlock High School, Our Lady of the Lakes, All Saints High School, and St. Louis High School, showcasing their unmatched skill, precision, and team spirit at the Michigan State Pompon Championships held at the Lansing Center.

With a flawless routine that dazzled the judges and captivated the audience, the Mustangs delivered a performance that left no doubt about their place as the best in the state. Their outstanding synchronization, energy, and athleticism were on full display as they defended their 2024 title, proving their commitment to excellence and cementing their legacy in Michigan's competitive pompon history.

"This victory is the result of countless hours of practice, teamwork, and dedication," said Marian High School Pom Pons Coach Alexa Slater. "Each team member gave their absolute best, and it shows. They've not only earned this championship but also demonstrated what it means to be true champions, both on and off the floor."
