Marian High School to host sports physical night August 2nd

BLOOMFIELD HILLS – In conjunction with Henry Ford Health Systems, Marian High School will sponsor low-cost, MHSAA-approved sports physicals for the 2023-24 school year.
Henry Ford Health System MHSAA physicals are offered ONLY to current and incoming and returning Marian High School athletes as well as girls entering seventh or eighth grade at Marian feeder grade schools. The physicals will be held in the gymnasium on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm. Please sign up with student's name for one time slot. Students may be seen without a parent provided that the MHSAA form is completed and signed by both student and parent prior to arriving.
Henry Ford physicians and athletic trainers will be conducting comprehensive sports physicals that meet MHSAA requirements.
The physicals include:
- Complete medical history evaluation
- Orthopedic/sports medicine consultation
- Optional - ECGs for student-athletes ages 14+
The cost is $20 per physical; $25 with an echocardiogram (ECG)
ECGs are only offered to those 14 years and older at the time of the exam. Please type in YES or NO for ECGs and enter the athlete's age as of August 2, 2023. The cost for each physical is $25 with ECG; $20 without, due at time of service. *PLEASE NOTE: CASH OR CHECK MADE PAYABLE TO 'HENRY FORD HEALTH SYSTEM.'

Registrants should enter through the Ferris Foyer at the rear of the school the day of the event.
